Wuling’s latest 7-seater SUV, available with EV and Plug-in Hybrid options
Bekasi, May 13, 2026 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) has begun marketing the Wuling Eksion in Bekasi, West Java, through an exhibition held at The Oval, Summarecon Mall Bekasi, from May 13 to 17, 2026. The arrival of Wuling’s latest 7-seater SUV expands the range of electrified vehicle options featuring flexible EV and Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) technologies to meet the mobility needs of modern families.
“Through the launch of the Wuling Eksion in Bekasi, we aim to offer a modern family SUV option featuring EV and Plug-in Hybrid technology that can be tailored to the mobility needs of the community. In line with the spirit of ‘Exploring Family Journeys,’ the Wuling Eksion combines comfort, efficiency, and modern safety features to support various family trips,” said Edwin Martinus, Sales Area Manager Wuling Motors.
Featuring the Muscular Flowline Design, the Wuling Eksion showcases a modern SUV character through its X-shaped automatic headlights and X-shaped taillights. This design identity is further enhanced by the distinct features of each variant, such as the honeycomb grille on the Plug-in Hybrid and the aerodynamic bumper on the EV variant, as well as the use of 18-inch wheels and two-tone color options on certain variants. The vehicle is also equipped with a McPherson strut suspension up front and a multi-link independent suspension in the rear, along with four-wheel disc brakes to support driving stability and comfort.
Regarding the Superior Comfort aspect, the Wuling Eksion offers a spacious 7-seater interior with a combination of walnut brown and carbon black colors and soft-touch panel accents, supported by ventilated seats and electric seat adjustment in the front row, soundproof double-pane glass, an air conditioner with a PM2.5 filter, and a panoramic sunroof that creates a more spacious cabin feel. Space flexibility is further enhanced by second- and third-row seats that fold flat to create up to 1,788 liters of cargo capacity, complemented by an electric tailgate and modern features such as a 12.8-inch control screen, an 8.8-inch TFT display, ventilated 50W wireless charging, and a multifunction steering wheel for a more practical driving experience.
Moving on to the second pillar, Ultra-High Efficiency, the Plug-in Hybrid variant of the Eksion combines a dedicated 1.5L hybrid engine with a Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT) and a 20.5 kWh battery, enabling an all-electric range of up to 125 km and a total range of over 1,000 km (CLTC), while the Eksion EV variant offers a range of up to 530 km (CLTC) with a 150 kW electric motor and 310 Nm of torque, supported by a 69.2 kWh battery and CCS2 DC fast-charging technology to support efficient mobility.
In terms of Versatile Safety, the Wuling Eksion features a body structure with 75% high-strength steel, up to 6 SRS airbags, and ISOFIX, supported by active safety features such as ESC, ABS, EBD, HHC, AVH, and TPMS, as well as Level 2 ADAS technology with 11 smart safety functions including ACC, IDA, FCW, AEB, LDW, BSD, LCA, DOW, RCTA, RCW, and IHMA to provide comprehensive protection for users.
The Wuling Eksion is available in two variants, CE and EX, for both EV and Plug-in Hybrid models. Color options include Archipelago Blue, Haze Grey, Frosty White, and Starry Black. The EX variant features a two-tone roof on select colors to enhance its premium look. Along with the launch of the Wuling Eksion in Bekasi, Wuling is also offering an early bird program with various attractive benefits for customers.
