Wuling Shows the Sophistication of Connected Driving Technology

By adopting the concept of Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) on Wuling E200
Cikarang, 25 September 2019 – In the middle of the inauguration of the export event, Wuling Motors (Wuling) also presented modern innovations in driving. The Wuling E200 electric car that equipped with Integrated Driving Technology shows its ability to interact with road conditions in the Wuling Factory area – Central Cikarang. Previously, this electric motor vehicle was exhibited at the 2019 Indonesia Electric Motor Show (IEMS) earlier this month.
“We are proud to present the Integrated Driving Technology which is supported by the concept of Vehicle-to-Everything. This concept connects between people, road conditions, vehicles, until cloud computing that makes this smart car able to adapt with the surrounding infrastructure. This driving technology has been implemented in the E200 electric car which has been marketed throughout mainland China,” said Cindy Cai as Vice President of Wuling Motors.

Integrated Driving Technology is also supported by various features such as forward collision warning that is able to detect road conditions ahead, intersection collision warning is useful to prevent crash at intersections, real time traffic navigation provides live traffic information, lane change warning, auto emergency brake, and smart speed limit aid.
Besides to drive on the highway, Integrated Driving Technology can also be used to park vehicles. With the presence of the autopilot parking feature, the driver can simply send commands through the application to find a place with an accurate parking maneuver, then turn off and turn on the engine, give notifications, and approach the driver again.
In specifications, the Wuling E200 has a length of 2,497 millimeters, a width of 1,526 millimeters and a height of 1,616 millimeters. This car is powered by an electric motor with a lithium battery that produces a maximum power of 29 kW with a torque of 110 Nm, which can be driven to reach speeds of 100 km / hour. In a full battery condition, the Wuling E200 can cover distances of up to 250 kilometers.

This 2-passengers configured electric car from Wuling has an exterior body design that is designed with a touch of geometric elements that features modern and futuristic characters. In the cabin, this electric car carries the form of a modern dashboard equipped with 11 storage compartments, starting from the door, center console, until the hidden storage under the passenger seat.
Supporting features were also presented at the Wuling E200, starting from keyless entry, start stop button, and electric parking brake (EPB). This car also has three driving modes namely Eco, Normal and Sport. To provide entertainment for users, the Wuling E200 has Bluetooth, USB and radio connections.
