Wuling Showcases EV Van for the First Time and Opens Pre-Booking at PEVS 2025

A commercial electric vehicle featuring a modern, multifunctional design and efficiency to support businesses
Jakarta, April 29, 2025 – In line with the spirit of “Dibangun Di Indonesia Untuk Anda,” Wuling Motors (Wuling) officially unveils its latest electric vehicle, the Wuling EV Van, at the Periklindo Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS) 2025. In the exhibition, which runs from today until May 4, visitors can see the EV Van live at the Wuling booth located in Hall B3, booth A19 JIExpo, Kemayoran. Wuling has also opened pre-books for consumers who want to place an order.
“On this special occasion, we are showing the Wuling EV Van for the first time in Indonesia. This electric car is present in Indonesia to fill the commercial segment because the market has great potential, especially for electric vehicles. Wuling EV Van combines a modern, multifunctional, and efficient design in supporting business operations,” explained Ricky Christian, Marketing Operation Director of Wuling Motors.
In Indonesia, the commercial market including Light Commercial Vehicle has shown strong stability over the years. In general, commercial vehicle sales have consistently remained around 200,000 units per year, with LCVs contributing more than 50%. Wuling sees this as a significant opportunity, especially considering that EVs currently account for only 0.1% of the commercial segment. This low figure is due to the limited availability of EV products. With this situation and the existing consumer demand in the commercial market, Wuling has taken the initiative to introduce EVs into this segment.
Speaking of its modern design, the Wuling EV Van features a futuristic EV character. The front of the vehicle is equipped with LED projector lights that give it a modern and functional look. Then, in the side area, a boxy style is adopted to maximize cabin volume. Meanwhile, the rear is robustly designed with asymmetrical style doors that add to the practicality of its use.
Regarding on to its multifunctional capabilities, the Wuling EV Van is designed as a vehicle that can be used to support various needs. With dimensions of 5,010 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width, and 1,960 mm in height, the EV Van offers cabin space with a capacity of up to 6.5 cubic meters. As a result, it provides more flexibility. To support easy access, the Wuling EV Van is equipped with rear doors that can open up to 270 degrees, as well as sliding doors on the side that have a 777 mm wide opening, making getting in and out of the cabin more practical and efficient.
Turning to its capabilities as an efficient electric vehicle for business, the Wuling EV Van is equipped with a 75 kW electric motor and powered by a 56.2 kWh battery allowing to cover a distance up to 400 kilometers on a full charge (based on CTLC testing). In addition, the Wuling EV Van features the advanced and highly safe MAGIC battery technology, along with a fast-charging facility that enables the battery to charge from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes.
Just like other electric cars, the Wuling EV Van also has additional benefits for its users. Starting from low maintenance costs, odd-even zone exemption, low annual tax, to overall lower energy costs.
Ricky further added, “Wuling EV Van will be officially launched in the third quarter of this year and will be locally manufactured at Wuling’s facility in Cikarang, West Java. The Wuling EV Van will be available in two model variants — Minibus and Blind Van — to answer various business needs.”
