Darion proves to be relevant in meeting the mobility needs of Dion Wiyoko’s and Putri Habibie’s families

Jakarta, February 13, 2026 – As part of its participation in the Indonesia International Motor Show IIMS 2026, Wuling Motors Wuling shared Darion stories with public figure families. This includes the family of Dion Wiyoko, who has been using the Wuling Darion for daily mobility, as well as Putri Habibie’s family, who conducted a test drive and experienced the Wuling Darion firsthand at IIMS 2026. Both public figure families consider the 7 seater MPV, which carries the tagline Evolving Family Moments, to offer a combination of comfort, efficiency, and technology.

For Dion Wiyoko’s family, the need for a family car stemmed from their active daily routines. From school drop offs and extracurricular activities to various family events, they required a vehicle with a spacious and flexible cabin.

“In terms of comfort and features, it’s already clear. The space was the first thing that caught my attention. It feels just right, even though we’re a small family, we travel in a big group. With the EV powertrain, sliding door, and sunroof, it really feels like an all in one package from the Wuling Darion,” said Dion Wiyoko.

Fiona, Dion’s wife, added that the comfort of all family members is the top priority when choosing a vehicle. “We feel very comfortable, especially sitting in the captain seats. The space is generous, and we can adjust it to almost full recline. Our child can sit in a car seat right next to us. The captain seat configuration in the second row makes it easier for me to sit beside our child, while the third row can still be used for other family members or additional luggage.”

Comfort in the Darion is further supported by the presence of the Autocomfort Power Sliding Door, which makes entering and exiting the cabin easier. The Smart Electric Tailgate offers practical access when opening the trunk. In addition, the electrically adjustable captain seats with ventilated seat features in the second row provide extra comfort for passengers, especially during long family trips.

Meanwhile, Putri Habibie, who also had the opportunity to see and test the Wuling Darion at IIMS 2026, shared her impressions of the vehicle’s design and functionality as a family car. “It looks very luxurious and it’s a 7 seater, so it fits a lot of people, very comfortable for families. Most importantly, it’s baby-friendly. Since it’s an electric vehicle, it’s definitely economical, and the features are very advanced,” said Putri Habibie.

In line with these impressions, the Darion is equipped with technology that supports modern family lifestyles. The presence of Ling OS, which includes Wuling Indonesian Voice Command WIND, enables users to operate various features through voice commands in Bahasa Indonesia, along with Internet of Vehicle IoV connectivity. Additionally, Level 2 ADAS provides enhanced protection through intelligent driving assistance systems. The 360-degree Surround View Camera further complements a safer driving experience.

Through the firsthand experiences of Dion Wiyoko and Putri Habibie, the Darion is considered capable of meeting the needs of modern families seeking a comfortable cabin, efficiency, and advanced technology. The presence of Darion at IIMS 2026 further reinforces Wuling’s commitment to delivering comfortable, modern, and worry free family mobility solutions, aligned with the spirit of Built in Indonesia for You (Dibangun di Indonesia untuk Anda).
