Surabaya, August 27, 2025 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) is taking part in the GIIAS The Series 2025 exhibition held at Grand City Convex Surabaya from August 27–31, 2025. Carrying the theme “Dibangun di Indonesia, untuk Anda”, Wuling showcases its flagship models, including the latest products recently launched during Wuling’s 8th anniversary celebration in Indonesia namely the New BinguoEV and Mitra EV. In addition, Surabaya residents can also take a closer look at Wuling’s newest MPV, the Cortez Darion EV, which made its 1st Global Appearance at GIIAS 2025 Jakarta.
“Surabaya marks the first city in the GIIAS The Series 2025 exhibition, and in this event visitors can directly explore the New BinguoEV and Mitra EV, as well as pre-book the Wuling Cortez Darion. Beyond that, we have also prepared other display units such as the New Cloud EV, New Air ev, Mitra EV, and Alvez. Visitors can also enjoy the test drive experience and take advantage of our special ‘Nusantara’ promotion available throughout the exhibition,” explained Angga, Regional Sales Manager of Wuling Motors.
One of Wuling’s latest models is the New BinguoEV. This electric car, with the tagline “Be The Icon,” retains its iconic classic design. As a pioneer of small hatchback EVs in Indonesia, the New BinguoEV is now even more competitive with two variants, Lite and Pro, as well as a variety of new exterior color options. The interior is also made more exclusive with Caramel Latte tones in the Pro variant and Mocha Latte in the Lite variant. Additional features such as smartphone interconnection and electric foldable mirrors also complement modern mobility needs.
At GIIAS Surabaya, Wuling also introduces its mobility solution for the business sector through the Mitra EV. As Wuling’s first commercial electric vehicle, its name ‘Mitra’, meaning friend or work partner, reflects the concept of a dependable vehicle designed to support a wide range of operational needs. Featuring a modern design, functional cabin, and high efficiency, Mitra EV is presented to provide worry-free operations for business owners. It is available in two body types minibus and blind van along with driving range options of 300 km and 400 km. Locally manufactured in Indonesia, Mitra EV further strengthens Wuling’s commitment to supporting EV adoption in the country. At GIIAS Surabaya 2025, visitors can also witness the exclusive collaboration between Wuling Mitra EV and the National Modificator & Aftermarket Association (NMAA), presented in a ‘VIP Concept’ modification that offers a new interpretation of an electric van combining functionality with a touch of luxury.
Additionally, Wuling opens the pre-booking period and showcases the Cortez Darion as its latest innovation for Indonesian families. The name Darion itself is inspired by the phrase “Dari Indonesia” (From Indonesia), emphasizing that this product is born from the inspiration of family journeys in the country. Featuring a 7-seater configuration with captain seats, an Elegant Streamline design that blends modern and elegant elements, as well as features such as Autocomfort Sliding Doors and an electric sunroof, the Cortez Darion delivers premium comfort for every family trip. To broaden consumer choices, the Wuling Cortez Darion is available in two technology options: EV and PHEV.
