Wuling’s Smart MPV with Indonesian voice command and IoV innovation has arrived in East Java
Surabaya, April 6, 2022 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) continues the launching series of its newest MPV, New Cortez, Innovating Comfort Zone at Tunjungan Plaza 3, Surabaya. This Wuling MPV has been equipped with modern innovations, which are Wuling Indonesian Command (WIND) and Internet of Vehicle (IoV) thus being embedded with Wuling Silver Logo. There are 2 variants presented by Wuling for the New Cortez, namely CE and EX. Wuling put the New Cortez on sale with a special launch price starting from IDR 280,800,000. (with Wuling PPnBM subsidy).

As a Smart MPV, the New Cortez is the second model to be equipped with IoV or Internet of Vehicle. This innovation connects users and vehicles through the internet. IoV can operate various advanced features, ranging from Vehicle Remote Control which works as remote control of vehicles operated via smartphones. New Cortez is also accommodated with Wuling Indonesian Command (WIND). WIND allows users to turn on, turn off, or operate various vehicle features via voice commands in Indonesian.
Supporting innovation in New Cortez, Wuling installs a 10.25” Head Unit. This device is not only a travel entertainment device but also has various functions ranging from wireless Mirrorlink connection, USB Fast Charging, Internet Connectivity, Navigation to vehicle settings.
Wuling made a refresh on the interior of the New Cortez. With a more comfortable seat and a multipurpose seat tray that can be used for family or business trips. Then, the dark marble textured panels on the dashboard and door panels and the use of premium black semi-leather seats.
Wuling New Cortez is powered by a 1.5L petrol engine with Turbocharged. Its ability to produce a maximum power of 140 HP and provides 250 Nm of torque. These competencies are channelled via Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT). This latest Wuling MPV is also equipped with complete safety features to provide comfort and safety while driving.
There are 4 color choices for New Cortez which are Pristine White, Dazzling Silver, Aurora Silver, and Starry Black. The new MPV is also supported by complete after-sales services, starting from a general vehicle warranty of 3 years or 100,000 kilometres, a warranty on main engine and transmission components for 5 years or 100,000 kilometres, free periodic service fees of up to 50,000 kilometres or 4 years, with terms and conditions apply.
