Jakarta, February 18, 2025 – Carrying the spirit of ‘Driving The Future of Comfort,’ Wuling Motors (Wuling) presents the New Cloud EV at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025, officially launched on Thursday (02/13) during the opening of this annual automotive exhibition. Through today’s media briefing session, Wuling invited media partners to get acquainted with the updates of this Wuling medium hatchback EV, including the Smartphone Interconnected Function, two charging port options, two new exterior colors, and the introduction of the Lite variant.

Aligned with the tagline ‘Driving The Future of Comfort,’ the New Cloud EV offers a home-like driving experience with a spacious cabin occupying 84.7% of the body dimension. The Sofa Mode allows the front seats to recline fully and the rear seats to recline up to 135 degrees, creating a comfortable relaxation area. Premium touches are seen in the Tea Table-style central control with 3 cup holders, rear seat armrest with 2 cup holders, and 18 versatile storage compartments. Additionally, the New Cloud EV’s trunk capacity extends to 1,707 liters when the second-row seats are folded, providing flexibility for carrying various travel necessities.
In addition to comfort, the New Cloud EV is equipped with high-standard technology that enhances driving convenience, including the latest Smartphone Interconnection Function and Smart Electric Tailgate, which can open the trunk via key detection, head unit, or voice command. The WIND (Wuling Indonesian Command) feature remains for easy control of AC, entertainment, and navigation using Indonesian voice commands.
In terms of safety, the New Cloud EV is supported by the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), which includes Adaptive Cruise, Lane Recognition, Safe Distance & Braking Assistance, and Automatic Light for a safer driving experience. Its affordable maintenance costs are estimated at around Rp 2,100,000 for services and spare parts over a 5-year usage period.
