Wuling New BinguoEV, the ‘Be The Icon’ Electric Hatchback, Now Available in Lite and Pro Variants

Cikarang, July 11, 2025 – Wuling New BinguoEV ‘Be The Icon’ is marketed in two variants, namely Lite and Pro. The two variants have similarities and differences in terms of exterior and interior. In the Wuling 8th Anniversary Media Briefing session held at XXI AEON Mall, Wuling explained in more depth about the two variants of the latest Wuling EV Hatchback to media partners.
“The updates on the Wuling New BinguoEV are in the smart interconnection feature, electric foldable mirror, then more diverse exterior color choices, new interior colors, and also new variants that make it more attractive in the EV hatchback segment,” added Alfonsus Marvel, product planning of Wuling Motors.
In general, the exterior design of the New BinguoEV maintains its iconic silhouette and signature two-tone color. However, it is now equipped with electric foldable mirrors. The Pro variant features a diamond-shaped grille, X-shaped LED headlights and taillights, chrome ornaments, and dual-tone wheels with a water splash pattern that adds an elegant touch. Meanwhile, the Lite variant includes halogen headlamps and taillights, single-tone wheels with the same water splash pattern, and a silver-accented diamond-shaped grille.
This EV hatchback boasts a spacious and functional cabin with a few key differences between the two variants. The New BinguoEV Pro features a Caramel Latte interior theme, leather-upholstered seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and electrically adjustable driver seats. The Lite variant uses a Mocha Latte interior theme, fabric seats, a polyurethane steering wheel, and manual seat adjustments. Both variants offer soft-touch trim, 15 storage compartments, and up to 790 liters of luggage capacity with the second-row seats folded down.
Both Lite and Pro variants of the New BinguoEV share the same core specifications. It measures 3,950 mm in length, 1,708 mm in width, and 1,580 mm in height, with a 2,560 mm wheelbase. It is powered by a 50 kW electric motor with 150 Nm of torque and a 31.9 kWh LFP battery. On a full charge, the New BinguoEV can travel up to 333 km. Because of its DC fast charging option, it can recharge from 30% to 80% in just 35 minutes. For the chassis, both variants use 185/60 R15 tires with 15-inch wheels, and disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels.

Moreover, the New BinguoEV offers affordable maintenance, with an estimated total cost of around IDR 3.9 million for periodic service and parts over 10.5 years or 105,000 km of vehicle use.
