Wuling Motors is Listening, Understanding and Creating for Indonesia

Jakarta, 9 June 2016 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) once again reaffirms its commitment to be in Indonesia for a long-term. Wuling has prepared strategies to give assurance to Indonesian people on its commitment, which one of them is implementing values of LISTEN, UNDERSTAND, and CREATE for Indonesia , as communicated by Wuling Motors President Xu Feiyun in the media breakfasting event held on June 9 in Dharmawangsa Hotel.
By always listening and understanding Indonesian people’s needs and wishes, Wuling will be able to create best products for customers and position Wuling to be one of the important players in Indonesian automotive industry.
Other Wuling’s strategy is constructing factory and Supplier Park in Cikarang, West Java, as part of its values of Listen, Understand, and Create for Indonesia. After the groundbreaking in August 2015, the progress of the factory construction has reached 50% and is moving as per schedule. When it is completed, this project is estimated to create around 3,000 jobs for local people, with total investment realization reaches USD700 million.

This project will also open huge opportunity for Indonesia’s upstream and downstream industry chain, making great contribution to Indonesia automotive industry. Moreover, the factory and Supplier Park is not only set aside for the production and manufacture of motor vehicles, but is also set as a production base to expand the Wuling’s business to ASEAN countries.
To further assure Indonesian people on its commitment, Wuling will also provide great services for Indonesian customers. Xu Feiyun said, “We are now preparing to establish dealerships to provide sales, services, and spare parts availability across the nation. The agreement signing with dealerships will soon be realized. In addition, we are also preparing attractive financial scheme to offer Indonesian customers with fast and easy accessibility to our products.”
Wuling is also committed to develop Indonesia’s human resources, proven by the brand’s move to give scholarship to 63 graduate students to continue their study in China as well as to establish an Indonesia-China Automotive Education and Training Center in Karawang, in partnership with one of vocational schools in the area.
To further showcase its commitment in and for Indonesia, Wuling will participate at the upcoming Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2016, held at Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE), BSD City, in August 11-21, 2016. At one of the largest automotive exhibition in Indonesia, Wuling will showcase products that are brought from China.
“At GIIAS 2016, aside to present our products, we also intend to showcase our values of LISTEN, UNDERSTAND and CREATE for Indonesia. Wuling’s booth will be located at Hall 3.

Wuling will launch LMPV type of car for its first product in Indonesia at the second half of 2017. The car will reflect Wuling’s efforts in listening and understanding Indonesian needs.
