A collaboration between Wuling and Ambulance Pintar Indonesia for an environmentally friendly healthcare mobility solution
Jakarta, August 14, 2025 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) once again demonstrates its commitment to innovation and sustainability by participating in the Emergency Disaster Reduction & Rescue Expo (EDRR) Indonesia 2025, held on August 13–15 at Hall A, JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta. Located at booth Hall A No. B09, Wuling presents the theme “Revolutionizing Emergency Response with Wuling Mitra EV”, highlighting its collaboration with Ambulance Pintar Indonesia (API) in developing an electric ambulance based on the Wuling EV Van.

Through this collaboration, we present the Wuling Mitra EV Go Green Ambulance as a tangible form of our concern for both public health and the environment,” said Danang Wiratmoko, Product Communication Manager of Wuling Motors.
The Go Green Ambulance program is an innovative step that combines electric vehicle technology with fast, efficient, and sustainable emergency medical services. By utilizing the Wuling Mitra EV, this unit can reduce carbon emissions and air pollution while meeting the operational standards of an ambulance. Its interior has been designed to maximize medical staff mobility and improve patient access, aligning with the mission to promote EV adoption in the healthcare sector and strengthen the electric vehicle ecosystem in public services.
This electric ambulance features a patient cabin measuring 205 cm in length, 128 cm in height, and 140 cm in width, ensuring sufficient space for emergency care. On the exterior, the Mitra EV is equipped with a flash lightbar and siren for road priority, along with a body design that allows easy patient entry and exit. Moving inside, the interior uses non-corrosive, easy-to-clean materials, hospital-grade antibacterial vinyl flooring, optimal lighting, cabin air conditioning, built-in storage cabinets with brackets, a power inverter for medical equipment, a medical officer’s seat, and a stretcher base.
In terms of medical equipment, the Wuling Mitra EV Go Green Ambulance is fitted with devices that meet emergency standards, including a patient monitor, wall aneroid sphygmomanometer, scoop stretcher, head immobilization device, AED defibrillator, portable suction, portable ventilator, neck collar, and emergency bag. These features ensure that medical staff can provide quick and accurate care in the field, whether for emergencies or non-emergency patient transport.
As a brief background, EDRR (Emergency Disaster Reduction & Rescue Expo) is a leading B2B exhibition and conference in Asia focusing on disaster risk reduction, public preparedness, and safety solutions. This event brings together various stakeholders, including the military, police, emergency services, NGOs, academics, as well as private and technology sectors.
Meanwhile, the Wuling Mitra EV “Satu Rekan Banyak Solusi” is Wuling’s first commercial electric vehicle in Indonesia. It is available in two versions: Blind Van and Minibus, with two exterior color options, Polar White and Mountain Grey.
