Wuling Introduces Darion ‘Evolving Family Moments’ in Medan, Available in EV and PHEV Variants

Medan, November 26, 2025 – Continuing its series of regional introductions across major cities, Wuling Motors (Wuling) today presented Darion to the people of Medan. After being introduced in various cities such as Jakarta, Makassar, Bandung, and Bali, Darion now arrives in North Sumatra as Wuling’s latest MPV offering EV and PHEV electrification options to support the mobility needs of Indonesian families.

Darion features an Elegant Streamline Design that delivers an aerodynamic and well-proportioned appearance. The PHEV variant comes equipped with a Diamond Cut Grille that enhances its futuristic look. Meanwhile, all variants, both EV and PHEV, adopt X-Shape front and rear lamp, 17-inch wheels, and a Hidden Slide Rail for a more modern and refined exterior.
As a family MPV, Darion offers a spacious cabin with a 2+2+3 configuration that ensures comfort for all passengers. In the EX variant, the second row is equipped with ventilated electric captain seats for added comfort. The Auto-Comfort Sliding Door further enhances ease of entry and exit. The dual-tone Walnut Brown and Carbon Black interior ambience, paired with soft synthetic leather materials, creates a warm and premium atmosphere.
In terms of safety, Darion is built with a High-Strength Steel Cage Body, six airbags, ISOFIX, a 360° camera, and active safety features including ABS, EBD, ESC, EPB, AVH, and TPMS. Driving comfort is supported by a suite of modern features such as a 12.8-inch control screen, smartphone interconnection, wireless charging, electric sunroof, smart electric tailgate, and electric rearview mirror.
For performance, Darion is offered in two electrification choices. The EV variant features a 150 kW electric motor paired with the MAGIC Battery Pro that delivers a driving range of up to 540 km (CLTC) and supports DC Fast Charging. Meanwhile, the PHEV variant is powered by the LING Power system combining a 1,498 cc engine with a Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT), providing optimal efficiency and the ability to travel up to 1,000 km in combined mode, including 125 km (CLTC) of full EV driving.
All Darion variants adopt the global Wonder Flexible Modular System (WFMS) platform and are equipped with advanced technologies such as the LING Power Hybrid System, MAGIC Battery Pro, LING OS, and Level 2 ADAS to ensure a safe and comfortable driving experience.
Wuling Darion is available in four variants: EV CE, EV EX, PHEV CE, and PHEV EX with color options including Haze Grey, Frosty White, Starry Black, and Orchid Purple.
