Wuling EV Present at KBL Showcase & Inauguration of SPKLU at DPSP Borobudur

Magelang, June 4 2022 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) today participated in the Electric Vehicle (KBL) showcase and the inauguration of the Public Electric Vehicle Charging Station (SPKLU) at the Super Priority Tourist Destinations (DPSP), Borobudur. This opportunity was used by Wuling to display the exterior design of its electric car to the government officials and also to show Wuling’s readiness regarding the integration of the Indonesian electric vehicle ecosystem.
“We are proud to be able to participate in this activity by displaying the Wuling EV so that it can be witnessed directly by the government and public. In addition, this participation is a form of Wuling’s support for the acceleration program for vehicle electrification and its ecosystem, including charging services for public and home electric vehicles. This is in line with one of the uniqueness of Wuling EV based on the GSEV platform, which is easy to charge,” explained Dian Asmahani as Brand & Marketing Director of Wuling Motors.
Talking about the Wuling EV design, this compact electric vehicle carries a future-tech design name that combines a touch of the future and technology. On the front, this Wuling electric vehicle looks futuristic and unique, with the Extended Horizon LED Daytime Running Light combined with chrome strips and black trim. Then, the Illuminous Wuling logo on the front adds a modern impression and the multilevel headlight design adds to the futuristic and modern aura of the Wuling EV.
On the side of the Wuling EV, it applies a futuristic rearview mirror style with a design that looks like it floats but remains sturdy. Aero-craft cabin window on the second row which further sharpens the future elements of electric vehicles. Then, the curved-tech body line combined with the minimalist dual-tone color scheme makes this electric vehicle look stylish. In rear area of the Wuling EV using modern parallel step rear lamp.
“With a combination of a compact body design and future tech, as well as ease of use, the upcoming Wuling electric vehicle is expected to be able to meet the mobility needs and support the modern lifestyle of its users in Indonesia, by prioritizing practicality and functionality,” explained Dian Asmahani.
This Wuling EV will be produced at the Wuling factory facility located in Cikarang, West Java and currently Wuling is preparing an electric vehicle supporting ecosystem, in order to provide the best service to consumers when this product is launched.
