From general warranty and lifetime coverage for key EV and PHEV components to customer assistance

Tangerang Regency, November 5, 2025 –  During a media briefing held alongside the launch event of Darion today, Wuling Motors (Wuling) introduced a comprehensive range of after-sales services for its newest product. As part of Wuling’s commitment to providing a complete ownership experience, these services are designed to offer peace of mind to customers through warranty protection, maintenance convenience, and emergency assistance support.

“Through these after-sales services, we aim to provide worry-free ownership for Darion customers. With this latest product, Wuling offers a lifetime warranty for key PHEV components, making it the first automotive brand in Indonesia to provide such protection. In addition, we also offer a general warranty and customer assistance program to ensure a worry-free ownership experience,” said Maulana Hakim, Aftersales Director of Wuling Motors.

All Wuling Darion variants are covered by a general vehicle warranty of 6 years or 150,000 kilometers, whichever comes first. Specifically for the PHEV variant, Wuling provides an additional warranty for the Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT) for 6 years or 150,000 kilometers, and a 12V battery warranty valid for 1 year or 20,000 kilometers, subject to terms and conditions.

In addition, Wuling provides a Lifetime Core Component Warranty that covers three major components across both EV and PHEV variants. This warranty includes the Power Battery, which serves as the main energy source and is engineered for maximum efficiency and durability; the Drive Motor, which propels the vehicle using energy from the high-voltage battery; and the Motor Controller, which regulates the flow of power from the battery to the motor.

The Lifetime Core Component Warranty applies to first owners who use their vehicles for personal, non-commercial purposes, with an annual mileage limit of 30,000 kilometers. Customers must perform regular maintenance at authorized Wuling service centers according to SGMW standards and use only genuine spare parts. The warranty will be void if the vehicle undergoes modifications, accidents, fire damage, flooding, or other external incidents that affect the main components.

For periodic maintenance in accordance with the vehicle owner’s manual, the Wuling Darion EV has a maintenance interval of every 10,000 kilometers, starting from 5,000 kilometers as the initial maintenance point. The spare parts included in this maintenance schedule consist of Reducer Oil, AC Filter, Coolant, and Brake Fluid. Overall, the cost of regular maintenance for this EV variant with usage up to 55,000 kilometers (5.5 years) reaches Rp 3.4 millions, including labor and parts costs.

Meanwhile, for periodic maintenance, Wuling Darion PHEV applies an interval of every 7,500 kilometers, starting from 5,000 kilometers as the first maintenance schedule. The spare parts included are Engine Oil, Oil Filter, DHT Oil, Brake Fluid, AC Filter, Spark Plug, Air Filter, Coolant (HV System and Engine), and Carbon Canister Filter. The cost of regular maintenance for this PHEV variant with usage up to 42,500 kilometers (5.5 years) reaches IDR 12.6 millions, including service and spare parts costs.

To complement these after-sales services, Wuling also provides 24-hour Emergency Roadside Assistance (ERA), which can be accessed by calling 0800-100-5050. This service covers emergency support such as fuel delivery, flat tire assistance, weak battery help, and free towing service within a 30-kilometer radius from the incident location. Additionally, customers can contact the same hotline number to reach Wuling Customer Assistance for emergency reports, dealer service concerns, or product-related inquiries.
