Wuling Donates 100,000 Non-Medical Masks to Covid-19 Task Force

Reinforcing Wuling’s Commitment for Indonesia to prevent the spread of the coronavirus
Jakarta, 22 April 2020 – Today, Wuling Motors (Wuling) gave another contribution to fighting against coronavirus in Indonesia, through its corporate social responsibility program called #WithWulingAgainstCorona, by donating 100,000 non-medical masks to Indonesian government through The National Agency for Disaster Management (BNPB), which was appointed as the Covid-19 Disease Mitigation Acceleration Task Force. The donation was given symbolically by Wuling, represented by Bambang Sumitro as Human Resources Director Wuling Motors, to Logistics and Equipment Network Optimization Director of BNPB, Ibnu Asur, who represented Covid-19 Disease Mitigation Acceleration Task Force at Graha BNPB, East Jakarta.
“To reinforce Wuling’s commitment in Indonesia and driven by the spirit of ‘Drive For A Better Life’, we take a step further by donating these non-medical masks to BNPB as the task force to distribute to the people in need. In these difficult times, it is essential for us to help each other. Therefore, as a form of our concern, Wuling would like to contribute so that Indonesia would recover soon from this coronavirus pandemic,” said Bambang Sumitro.
In this opportunity, Wuling takes initiative to help the task force in preventing the spread of Covid-19 as well as keeping the health and safety of everyone who are involved by donating 100,000 non-medical masks. Moreover, BNPB will distribute the donation to those who need it in Indonesia.

Wuling’s move through donating to BNPB is welcomed positively by Logistics and Equipment Network Optimization Director of The National Agency for Disaster Management (BNPB), Ibnu Asur. “We are grateful for Wuling’s step in helping the task force’s efforts against Covid-19 through the #WithWulingAgainstCorona activity. Hopefully, this step can inspire many parties to participate in breaking the chain of the corona virus in Indonesia.
Bambang Sumitro added, “We will keep doing our best, working together in synergy with others, especially BNPB to accelerate the Covid-19 mitigation in Indonesia. We hope that this donation would support BNPB in fighting against this global pandemic.”

BNPB (National Disaster Management Agency) was established on January 26, 2008.
