Makassar, November 6, 2025 – Following its national debut in Jakarta yesterday, Wuling Motors (Wuling) introduced the Wuling Darion at GIIAS Makassar 2025, held from November 5 to 9, 2025, at Summarecon Mutiara Makassar Convention Center (SMMCC). The newest MPV, carrying the tagline ‘Evolving Family Moments’, represents Wuling’s commitment to delivering modern, eco-friendly mobility solutions that cater to the needs of Indonesian families.

Wuling Darion is produced at Wuling’s manufacturing facility in Cikarang, West Java, and marks the first MPV in Indonesia available in both EV and PHEV variants,” said Edison, Strategic Manager of Wuling Motors.
Adopting the Elegant Streamline Design concept, Wuling Darion presents an elegant yet dynamic exterior, characteristic of modern family vehicles. The PHEV variant features a bold Diamond Cut Grille, while both the PHEV and EV variants share X-shaped head and tail lamps, 17-inch alloy wheels with a modern center cap, and a hidden sliding door rail that maintains a clean, seamless appearance.
Comfort is one of Darion’s core strengths for every family journey. This medium MPV features a spacious 7-seater cabin that offers generous legroom in every row, supported by its long body dimensions and the largest wheelbase in its class. Additional comfort is provided by the Autocomfort Sliding Door for effortless entry and exit, as well as ventilated electric captain seats in the second row. The cabin is further enhanced with premium leather materials in Walnut Brown and Carbon Black, creating a warm and elegant atmosphere.
Wuling Darion is also equipped with a wide range of safety features, including 6 airbags, ISOFIX, a 360° camera, and systems such as ABS, EBD, ESC, EPB, AVH, and TPMS. Built with a robust High-Strength Steel Frame, the Darion ensures maximum protection for all passengers. For entertainment and convenience, it comes with a 12.8-inch touchscreen display, smartphone interconnection, wireless charging, six speakers, an electric sunroof, and a smart electric tailgate.
Beyond comfort and advanced technology, Darion also emphasizes driving efficiency through two electrification options. The PHEV variant combines a 1,498 cc gasoline engine with a Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT), delivering responsive yet energy-efficient performance, capable of traveling up to 125 km (CLTC) in pure electric mode and a total range of up to 1,000 km. Meanwhile, the EV variant is powered by a 150 kW electric motor that delivers up to 540 km (CLTC) on a single charge and supports DC Fast Charging for faster charging.
Wuling Darion is built upon Wuling’s latest global platform, the Wonder Flexible Modular System (WFMS), and features cutting-edge technologies such as LING Power for the PHEV variant, MAGIC Battery Pro, LING OS smart connectivity, and Level 2 ADAS for enhanced driving safety and convenience.
The Darion lineup consists of four variants PHEV CE, PHEV EX, EV CE, and EV EX. It comes in four elegant color options Haze Grey, Frosty White, Starry Black, and Orchid Purple, allowing customers to choose according to their preferences.
