Wuling Collaborates with NMAA to Present the Mitra EV ‘VIP Concept’ at GIIAS 2025

Showcasing a premium EV van with an executive lounge-style interpretation crafted by local modifiers
Tangerang, July 28, 2025 – At its participation in the 2025 GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), Wuling Motors (Wuling) presents an exclusive collaboration with the National Modificator & Aftermarket Association (NMAA), featuring the first-ever customized version of its commercial electric vehicle, the Mitra EV. Carrying the ‘VIP Concept’ theme, this modification brings a fresh interpretation to electric vans by combining functionality with a touch of luxury.
“This collaboration showcases the flexibility offered by the Mitra EV. As a commercial electric vehicle embodying the spirit of One Partner, Many Solutions, this model can meet various mobility needs, whether for personal use or supporting business operations. Through this collaboration with NMAA, we proudly present the Mitra EV ‘VIP Concept’ at GIIAS 2025 to highlight a personalized version crafted by local modifiers,” stated Danang Wiratmoko, Product Communication Manager of Wuling Motors.
The ‘VIP Concept’ focuses on interior comfort with a design that resembles an executive lounge, transforming the cabin into an ultra-comfortable space. The interior is dominated by an elegant light beige color palette, featuring four individual VIP seats with heating, cooling, massage, and electric reclining functions. To enhance in-cabin entertainment, the van is also equipped with an Android TV complete with karaoke, streaming services such as YouTube and Netflix, and a high-quality audio system, creating a luxurious family room experience on wheels.
The exterior styling of the Mitra EV has also been adjusted to reflect the luxurious VIP Style commonly seen in premium modification scenes. A set of Lenso Jager Ventus JTV mesh wheels, 18×8.5 inches ET40, wrapped in 225/45 R18 tires, is paired with an AirBFT air suspension system installed by Akasia Motor for optimum flexibility and ride comfort. Further enhancing its look, the body is wrapped in Nardo Grey and White stickers by Goodfix Sticker and fitted with a bespoke body kit designed by the NMAA team, resulting in a premium yet proportional appearance.
“This VIP Concept project is a collaboration between Wuling and NMAA. The goal is to showcase the creativity and world-class potential of Indonesian car modification talents. It also demonstrates that electric vehicles, while being the future of mobility, can still be stylish and open to personal modification,” said Andre Mulyadi, Founder of NMAA and coach builder for this collaborative project.

This innovation not only reflects the transformation of a modern lifestyle but also underscores the vast potential of EVs as a medium for self-expression.
A brief overview: the Wuling Mitra EV is a commercial electric vehicle that blends multifunctionality, efficiency, and modern design. It is available in two variants, which are Blind Van and Minibus, with two color options. This first commercial EV from Wuling is also locally produced at the Wuling manufacturing facility in Cikarang, West Java.
