Jakarta, December 12, 2024 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) once again has achieved a remarkable achievement in automotive circles with the Wuling Cloud EV being named Best Car Design in the 5th Uzone Choice Award – Connected World! event which took place on December 11, 2024 at Fyne Jakarta, South Jakarta. This award recognizes Wuling’s dedication in marketing vehicles that are not only innovative but also have an alluring design.

This year’s Uzone Choice Award, themed “Connected Worlds”, serves as a platform to celebrate the best innovations in technology and automotive sectors, while emphasizing the role of artificial intelligence in connecting various aspects of modern life. In this 5th year of the awarding event, there are 18 award categories covering technology, vehicles, and ESG initiatives. The Best Car Design category was evaluated based on the car’s unique design and strong identity, which prioritized both practical and comfortable cabin.
Speaking of the exterior design, the Cloud EV, which is inspired by the curves and shapes of clouds, successfully captures a futuristic and modern feel with details that enhance its visual appeal. The Infinity Luminous-style headlights and Horizon Skyline taillights give it an elegant appearance and create a strong identity at night. Then, the 18-inch diameter windmill-style alloy wheels are designed to enhance the sporty feel while supporting aerodynamics. There are also other details such as the hidden door handles and electric mirrors that bring a touch of minimalism as well as ease of use. In addition, automatic headlights and rain sensors ensure optimal visibility in various weather conditions. Equipped with a rear glass defogger, the Cloud EV offers a safe and comfortable driving experience with outstanding attention to design details.
The Cloud EV, a medium hatchback EV and Wuling’s third electric vehicle produced at the Cikarang plant, is designed with a strong emphasis on user comfort. Its interior boasts a range of premium features that are key attractions for its users. The high-quality Italian Bubble Sofa Style seats provide exceptional comfort, while the flexible sofa mode allows for customizable cabin arrangements. Additionally, the WIND (Wuling Indonesian Command) system enables users to control various vehicle functions through voice commands. The spacious cabin and trunk further enhance the flexibility and convenience offered to users.
In terms of advanced safety, the Cloud EV is equipped with state-of-the-art ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) technology, featuring Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assistance, and Automatic Emergency Braking to ensure optimal safety in various driving scenarios and help drivers avoid potential accidents.
The “Best Car Design” award adds to the series of accolades Wuling Cloud EV has earned in 2024. Previous recognitions include ‘1st Family EV (Compact EV),’ Family Car Recommendation 2024 from Autofun Indonesia, ‘Best Value Electric Car’ from the Carvaganza Editors’ Choice Award 2024.
