Wuling Cloud EV ‘Driving the Future of Comfort’ Presents Complete and Modern Features

Jakarta, April 30 2024 – As part of the Cloud EV pre-book announcement event, Wuling Motors (Wuling) today held a product explanation session to provide a more in-depth explanation of Wuling’s latest electric car. In the event held at the 2024 Periklindo Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS), Wuling provided a comprehensive explanation regarding the design to various innovative features that further support a premium and comfortable driving experience.

This medium hatchback electric car is capable of traveling up to 460 km and is supported by a variety of smart technology features. This is a manifestation of Wuling’s commitment to continue presenting innovative products that meet the needs of environmentally friendly mobility for the people of Indonesia,” explained Danang Wiratmoko as Product Planning of Wuling Motors.
Regarding the interior, the Cloud EV features a number of advantages that make it an electric car with the comforts of home. This electric car presents a space usage ratio of up to 84.7%, maximizing comfortable legroom for all passengers in both the first and second rows. This is also supported by the ergonomic 5-seater leather configuration and the front-row seat adjustment that can be adjusted easily thanks to the electric seat adjuster feature.
Comfort is further enhanced by the maximum reclining capability of the front and rear seats, which can be reclined up to 135°, giving the impression of sitting on a sofa. The use of soft-touch materials in every corner of the interior with rose gold panels enhances and adds to the Cloud EV’s luxurious feel. The Cloud EV’s interior is also enriched by the 15.6-inch Intelligent Head Unit large screen that serves as the vehicle’s control center and entertainment feature and the 8.8-inch MID screen on the dashboard.
Wuling’s third electric vehicle is also equipped with various smart technology features. Wuling supports Cloud EV with Wuling Smart Ecosystem to support a calm and safe driving experience. The various innovations consist of the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). The ADAS feature is presented by utilizing advanced cameras which are divided into four categories, namely Adaptive Cruise, Lane Recognition, Safe Distance & Braking Assistance, and Automatic Light.
Moving on to the next innovation, the Wuling Indonesian Command (WIND) feature. This feature received an update that allows users to access more features, including opening the trunk, discovering the remaining battery power, and changing the driving mode. Furthermore, the vehicle status monitoring facility via MyWuling+ provides important information for users about the vehicle in real-time. Various information such as vehicle location, total odometer, remaining battery power and mileage, and vehicle function status can be known by Cloud EV owners.
In terms of performance, Wuling offers Cloud EV with a mileage of 460 km, making this product the electric vehicle from Wuling with the longest mileage at this time, supporting long-distance traveling with peace of mind. Moreover, Cloud EV has four driving mode options, namely ECO, ECO+, Sport, and Normal.
To ensure safety in driving, a variety of safety features are presented consisting of Auto Vehicle Holding (AVH), Electric Parking Brake (EPB), Electronic Stability Control, ABS & EBD, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), ISOFIX, up to 4 SRS Airbags to support safe and comfortable travel for Cloud EV users. Cloud EV is also supported by Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) batteries with IP67 certification that are safe to provide peace of mind during daily use.
For additional information, Wuling applies an exterior design with smooth curves on each side of Cloud EV. The front is adorned with an Automatic LED Headlight and DRL that stretches across the front. On the side, there is a Flushed Door Handle that adds a luxurious impression to the door. At the rear, there is a Horizon Skyline Tail Light. The 18″ Ferris-shaped Alloy Wheels also look unique and well-proportioned adorning the tires of this electric vehicle.
