Wuling Cloud EV and BinguoEV Contribute to the Success of HLF-MSP and The 2nd IAF 2024 in Bali

Jimbaran, 5 September 2024 – The HLF-MSP (High-Level Forum on Multi-Stakeholder Partnership) and Indonesia Africa Forum 2024 (HLF-MSP and The 2nd IAF 2024) were successfully held in Bali, Indonesia from 1 to 3 September 2024. This success was supported by various parties who synergized with each other, one of which was Wuling Motors (Wuling). Wuling became the official car partner in this event and proved its commitment as the leading EV brand in Indonesia. Wuling took part in this event by providing 158 units of its flagship electric vehicles, BinguoEV and Cloud EV as well as presenting a Wuling Jimbaran Pool to support environmentally friendly mobility during the International forum.

In this activity, Wuling deployed 158 units of its second and third electric cars, BinguoEV and Cloud EV to support the smooth running of environmentally friendly mobility. A total of 42 units of medium hatchback, Cloud EV were used as protocol vehicles and rescue units in the VVIP series, while 16 other Cloud EV units were assigned to the operations of the national committee. In addition, 100 units of Wuling’s iconic hatchback, BinguoEV were deployed as mobility partners for the delegation participants from various countries. Both Wuling EV products are produced in Indonesia and have met the Domestic Component Level (TKDN) of more than 40%.
In addition to providing vehicle units, Wuling presents the Wuling Jimbaran Pool facility that operates 24 hours to ensure vehicles are in prime condition. In addition to providing parking lots, this facility is also equipped with charging stations, car wash, integrated and real-time pool management, security personnel, and experienced mechanics. Not only that, a charging station for Cloud EV units was also prepared at the ITDC central parking area to support the operation of Wuling electric vehicles in the VVIP convoy during the event.
The contribution of environmentally friendly mobility presented by Wuling EV aims to answer the mobility needs of delegates and VVIPs during this international event. Starting from airport transport, then the Gala Dinner which was held on September 1 at the Intercontinental Bali Resort, Nusa Dua. Followed by the opening ceremony on September 2, 2024, held at Mulia Resort, Nusa Dua which continues with meeting sessions at the Bali International Convention Center (BICC) ITDC for HLF-MSP and Mulia Resort, Nusa Dua for the 2nd IAF 2024. The series of meetings lasted until September 3, 2024.
With the theme “Strengthening Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships: Towards a Transformative Change”, the HLF-MSP (High-Level Forum on Multi-Stakeholder Partnership) became a platform to strengthen global development partnerships that are inclusive, effective, and sustainable. This included efforts to enhance cross-sector collaboration in addressing development financing, particularly for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
Held for the second time in Bali, The 2nd Indonesia Africa Forum (IAF) 2024 provided a strategic platform for cross-country discussions between Indonesia and African nations. It served to strengthen relations between Indonesia and African countries in economic, social, and political realms. The forum laid a crucial foundation for enhancing trade, investment, and diplomacy cooperation between Indonesia and African countries while exploring new opportunities in various sectors, including clean energy and technology.
