Tangerang, November 27, 2024 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) has taken a groundbreaking step in Indonesia’s automotive industry by introducing a lifetime warranty for the core components of hybrid vehicles. This program, designed specifically for New Almaz RS Hybrid owners, comes with certain terms and conditions and positions Wuling as the first to provide this exceptional benefit in the country. This initiative reinforces Wuling’s long-term commitment to offering innovative and superior products and after-sales services.

The lifetime warranty covers three essential hybrid components: the Drive Motor, which powers the vehicle using energy from the high-voltage battery; the Motor Controller Unit, which regulates the flow of power from the battery to the motor; and the Power Battery, the primary energy source designed for maximum efficiency and durability.
To qualify for the program, customers must meet several terms and conditions. The warranty is only available for first-time buyers of the New Almaz RS Hybrid for personal use, with an annual mileage limit of 30,000 kilometers. Routine maintenance must be performed at authorized Wuling service centers using genuine parts. The warranty will not apply in cases of modifications or damage from accidents that affect the hybrid core components.
Beyond the lifetime warranty, the New Almaz RS Hybrid is equipped with cutting-edge Multimode Hybrid technology, providing flexibility through three driving modes: EV Mode, which relies entirely on electric power; Series Hybrid Mode, where the gasoline engine charges the battery that drives the vehicle; and Parallel Hybrid Mode, where the gasoline engine and electric motor work together for optimal performance. This is supported by Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT), which ensures a smooth and efficient driving experience that is both powerful and eco-friendly.
The Almaz RS Hybrid also boasts advanced features designed to enhance the driving experience. This program also includes other valuable benefits, such as a 70% Resale Value Guarantee, ensuring that Almaz RS and Alvez owners can reclaim up to 70% of the purchase price when reselling their vehicle in the third year, provided they follow maintenance requirements. Additionally, Wuling offers free maintenance services, covering labor costs for up to eight years or 100,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.
