Jakarta, May 31 2022 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) once again received the Indonesia Digital Popular Brand 2022 award for its SUV product, Almaz RS. In an award ceremony held online today, Wuling Almaz RS was chosen to be one of the most popular brands for internet users based on a digital survey conducted by INFOBRAND.ID, TRAS N CO Indonesia, and IMFocus.

Indonesia Digital Popular Brand Award 2022 is an award event for brands in Indonesia that have succeeded in building popularity and increasing brand activity through digital media. This award was given based on the research results of the Indonesia Digital Popular Brand Index conducted in February-April 2022 on 150 product categories with more than 1,000 brands. This research was conducted through independent and credible third-party data engines that provide a benchmark for the success of brand’s popularity in the digital era through three parameters, namely Search Engine Based using Google; Social Media Based on Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube; and Website Based to determine the speed and traffic of the brand’s website.

Regarding the Wuling Almaz RS, the flagship Wuling SUV which carries the tagline ‘Drive Unlimited Way’ is supported by a 1,500cc turbocharged engine that produces a maximum power of 140 HP and 250 Nm of torque and is combined with a choice of CVT transmission. This Wuling SUV is also equipped with the first advanced Indonesian voice command, namely Wuling Indonesian Command (WIND) to support the ease of operation of various driving features. Regarding other modern features, Almaz RS also applies a panoramic sunroof, start-stop button, 360o Camera, as well as various safety and security features.

In addition, Almaz RS is equipped with leading innovations, namely the Internet of Vehicle (IoV) and Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) which are incorporated in the Wuling Interconnected Smart Ecosystem (WISE) and WIND. Internet of Vehicle (IoV) itself connects users with vehicles via internet connectivity through the MyWuling+ application and also the head unit. Meanwhile, ADAS is an innovation that provides practicality and comfort while driving. ADAS at Almaz RS can be grouped into 4 categories, namely Adaptive Cruise, Lane Recognition, Safe Distance & Braking Assistance, and Automatic Light with a total of 12 features.
