Tangerang, July 23, 2025 – Wuling Motors takes the momentum of GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025 to introduce a range of cutting-edge technologies that will shape its future product developments. These innovations represent Wuling’s strategic step in delivering mobility solutions that are more efficient, safe, and connected, in line with the needs of Indonesian consumers.
“Wuling understands that as an automotive manufacturer, the focus is not solely on products, but also on technological advancements that can be contributed to the Indonesian market. Therefore, at this year’s GIIAS, Wuling will introduce its latest technology. This technology is designed to address consumer needs such as efficiency, safety, and connectivity with vehicles,” said Ricky Christian, Marketing Operation Director of Wuling Motors.
The lineup begins with the Wonder Flexible Modular System (WFMS), Wuling’s vehicle platform developed on a global scale and designed to prioritize durability, driving experience, and flexibility for various types of powertrains, including internal combustion engine (ICE), hybrid, and pure electric vehicles (EV). This platform provides a premium driving comfort, a more robust vehicle frame, improved energy efficiency for extended range, as well as compatibility with fast-charging systems for future electrified models.
Next is Ling Power, an advanced development of hybrid electrification technology known as Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV). This innovation offers high efficiency to reduce energy costs while delivering powerful performance through an electric motor that meets the high standards of high-speed rail systems. To enhance driving comfort, Ling Power is equipped with a responsive Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT) that provides smooth and seamless power delivery.
Beyond efficiency and performance, Wuling also focuses on consumer demands for connectivity through Ling OS. Current connectivity features include Wuling Indonesian Command (WIND), the first Indonesian voice command system in Indonesia, and vehicle status monitoring accessible via the MyWuling+ app. Moving forward, Ling OS will continue to be developed with new services and functionalities to align with market trends and the lifestyle of Wuling vehicle owners.
Safety for electrified vehicles is also a key focus with the development of MAGIC Battery. Introduced in Indonesia in 2024, it has now been enhanced into MAGIC Battery Pro. Adhering to the Five Zero Safety concept which are Zero Spontaneous Combustion, Zero Diffusion, Zero Leakage, Zero Water Ingress, and Zero Intrusion, MAGIC Battery Pro has undergone rigorous tests and proven to withstand extreme conditions without leakage or explosions. Its structural design is strengthened by MUST (Multifunction Unitized Structure Technology), which is inspired by the aerodynamics of airplane wings.
“And the good news is that all of these technologies will gradually be applied to Wuling’s product lineup in Indonesia, starting with the latest product we are debuting at GIIAS 2025,” added Ricky Christian.
