“10.000 Pohon untuk Indonesia” Program Completed in Conjunction with Wuling’s 8th Anniversary Celebration

4,000 Rain Trees Planted in Surakarta, Bogor Regency, and Cikarang as the Final Chapter of the CSR Initiative
Cikarang, July 11, 2025 – To celebrate its 8th anniversary in Indonesia, Wuling Motors (Wuling) reaffirmed its commitment in the aspect of corporate social responsibility (CSR) towards environmental preservation through a program entitled ‘10.000 Pohon untuk Indonesia’. In this final stage, Wuling planted 4,000 trembesi trees in three different areas, namely Surakarta City, Bogor Regency, and Bekasi Regency. This activity is part of Wuling’s long-term initiative that has been started since 2016, with a target of planting 10,000 trees to support the creation of a sustainable green environment.

This environmental activity is also in line with our long-term commitment to environmental sustainability, especially around our operational areas in Indonesia,” explained Arif Pramadana, Vice President of Wuling Motors.
In today’s 8th anniversary celebration ceremony, Wuling, represented by Arif Pramadana as Vice President of Wuling Motors, also symbolically handed over a tree to the Vice Regent of Bekasi, Asep Surya Atmaja, as a sign of collaboration in reforestation and sustainable development efforts in Bekasi district. The tree planting activity itself was directly carried out on July 9, 2025, by planting 2,000 trembesi trees in the area around the Bekasi Regency Government Office. Asep Surya Atmaja welcomed Wuling’s positive contribution to regional development through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities. He said that the initiative to plant 2000 tree seedlings is a form of concern for environmental sustainability in Bekasi Regency. What Wuling has done, according to him, is a clear example that industrial progress can go hand in hand with social and ecological responsibility.
Recently, on July 7, 2025, Wuling also planted 1,000 trembesi tree seedlings in Bogor Regency. The handover ceremony was represented by M. Ivan Nuramdhani, HR Director of Wuling Motors, and Li Fosheng, Purchasing Director of Wuling Motors to the Bogor Regent, Rudy Susmanto, at the Bogor Regency Hall.
The planting in Bogor Regency was carried out not only to help protect the environment, but also to plant hope for a greener future through the real action of planting tree seedlings. Wuling also received appreciation from the Bogor Regency government for its assistance in rejuvenating the Bogor area and preserving urban forests in each sub-district.
Besides, in Bekasi Regency, the planting of 1,000 trembesi trees was also carried out by Wuling in Surakarta City on July 5, 2025. The symbolic handover procession was carried out by Meyristya Angelia, Admin and Operation Management Director of Wuling Motors, to Jebres Sub-District Head, Samsu Tri Wahyudin. The trees were planted in the Urban Forest Park area, Bengawan Solo, as part of the expansion of green open space in the heart of the city.
From this step, Wuling received a warm response from the local government for its contribution to environmental conservation through tree planting activities. This donation is expected to help Surakarta City in reducing the impact of urban heat, preventing soil erosion, and reducing the risk of landslides and drought.
