Wuling’s latest 7-seater SUV with EV and Plug-in Hybrid technology has recorded one thousand bookings
Tangerang, May 9, 2026 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) held the Wuling Eksion Handover Ceremony event at Summarecon Mall Serpong, Tangerang, today. In this ceremony, a total of 25 consumers participated, marking the beginning of Eksion unit deliveries to consumers in Indonesia. Previously, Wuling’s latest 7-seater SUV was successfully launched on April 22.
“Since being introduced to the Indonesian public, Wuling Eksion has received a very positive response, and today, Wuling officially carries out the handover of Wuling Eksion units to customers. We would like to express our gratitude for the trust that has been given to Eksion. We hope Wuling Eksion can become part of new journeys together with Indonesian families,” said Kharismawan Awangga as Sales Director of Wuling Motors.
Following its national launch, Wuling has started introducing Eksion more closely to the public through a series of regional launches in various cities across Indonesia. To date, the regional launch has been held in Bali, Batam, Bandung, and Tangerang, and will continue in other major cities in Indonesia, such as Bekasi, Medan, Makassar, Semarang, and Surabaya. The presence of Eksion has received a positive response from the public as it offers a combination of driving comfort, efficiency, and increasingly diverse vehicle technology options. This is also reflected in the achievement of more than 1,000 SPKs since being introduced nationally.
Among more than one thousand bookings, there is Indonesian football athlete Egy Maulana Vikri. He chose the Wuling Eksion Plug-in Hybrid. During this ceremony, Egy Maulana Vikri also shared stories regarding his background and interest in Eksion.
Seeing the public enthusiasm for Wuling Eksion, consumers still have the opportunity to enjoy the Early Bird program for the first 2,000 customers. This program offers benefits in the form of free periodic maintenance for EV and PHEV variants in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions. Wuling Eksion becomes Wuling’s second product in Indonesia to apply the latest Wuling Technology. This 7-seater SUV is supported by a spacious cabin with a panoramic sunroof and luggage capacity of up to 1,788 liters. In terms of efficiency, the EV variant offers a driving range of up to 530 km (CLTC), while the Plug-in Hybrid variant is capable of achieving a total driving range of more than 1,000 km (CLTC).
