Wuling earns the title of The Most Innovative Digitalization of Automotive Industry
Jakarta, April 10, 2026 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) has received recognition for its commitment to delivering digital innovation in Indonesia’s automotive industry. At the Indonesia Digital Innovation Awards (IDIA) 2026, held on Thursday (9/4) at Parle Senayan, Jakarta by Warta Ekonomi, Wuling was honored with the award ‘The Most Innovative Digitalization of Automotive Industry 2026 for Advanced Electrified Vehicle Technology Integration’.

The Indonesia Digital Innovation Awards (IDIA) is an annual award organized by Warta Ekonomi to identify, measure, and appreciate companies with the best digital innovation across various industries. This year, IDIA carries the theme ‘Driving Industrial Competitiveness Through Impactful Digital Innovation’, highlighting the importance of digital innovation in strengthening national industrial competitiveness.
In its evaluation process, IDIA employs a data-driven approach combining desk research and media monitoring, taking into account various aspects, including digital innovation excellence, business impact & inclusive growth, digital governance, risk & security, digital sustainability & ESG impact, and digital brand trust & reputation.
In line with this, Wuling demonstrates innovation through the integration of digital technology in the development of electrified vehicles, including the application of a new platform on the Darion that delivers efficiency, performance, and flexibility. Wuling also strengthened its technological capabilities through the inauguration of a local battery assembly facility as a core component of electric vehicles, as well as the integration of the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) to enhance driving safety through automatic detection and warning systems.
As for Wuling’s electrified vehicle lineup, the company has introduced a growing range of electric vehicles in Indonesia, starting from Air ev as a compact EV for urban mobility, BinguoEV with its iconic design in the hatchback segment, to Cloud EV which emphasizes comfort in the medium hatchback segment. In addition, Wuling continues to expand its electrification innovation through the presence of Darion EV in the family MPV segment, as well as Mitra EV as a commercial electric vehicle solution designed to support various business operational needs.
