Wuling Donates Two Mitra EV Minibus Units to Support Social Services

To be utilized by the Jakarta Provincial Health Office as an ambulance and by Kitabisa for a funeral vehicle
Jakarta, March 13, 2026 – During the Media Iftar Gathering with members of the press held at Midaz Senayan Golf, Wuling Motors (Wuling) also announced a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative through the symbolic handover of the Wuling Mitra EV Minibus, a commercial electric vehicle, to the Jakarta Provincial Health Office and Kitabisa. The two Mitra EV Minibus units will be utilized as ambulance vehicles by the Jakarta Provincial Health Office and as funeral service vehicles by Kitabisa, as part of efforts to support social and healthcare services for the community.
“Wuling aims to contribute by providing mobility solutions that bring meaningful benefits to society. The handover of the Mitra EV Minibus to the Jakarta Provincial Health Office and Kitabisa is expected to support the services and social initiatives carried out by both parties. This initiative also reflects Wuling’s commitment to delivering electric vehicle innovations that are not only relevant to business needs but also capable of creating a positive impact for the community,” said Ricky Christian, Marketing Director of Wuling Motors.
Responding to this initiative, dr. Sulung Mulia Putra, M.P.H., Head of PK3D at the Jakarta Provincial Health Office, expressed his appreciation. “We would like to extend our gratitude to Wuling for its support through the handover of this Mitra EV Minibus vehicle. The vehicle will be utilized as an ambulance to support healthcare service operations for the community. We hope its presence will help improve emergency service readiness while strengthening healthcare facilities in delivering fast and effective services.”
Meanwhile, Alfatih Timur, Chairman of the Kitabisa Foundation, also expressed his appreciation for the collaboration. “Through the initiative called ‘Pulang’, Kitabisa will utilize this electric funeral vehicle to assist in transporting the deceased from underprivileged communities as well as homeless individuals. The ‘Pulang’ initiative is part of the Kitabisa ecosystem aimed at providing dignified final services for those in need,” he said.
The Wuling Mitra EV itself is Wuling’s first commercial electric vehicle in Indonesia, carrying the spirit of “Satu Rekan, Banyak Solusi” (One Partner, Many Solutions). The model is designed to support a wide range of operational needs through an efficient, functional, and modern vehicle concept.
