Wuling Collaborates with NMAA to Showcase Darion ‘Daily Use Dress-Up’ at IIMS 2026

This Plug-in Hybrid MPV embraces a ‘less is more’ philosophy, highlighting simplicity in design and relevant functionality
Jakarta, February 11, 2026 – As part of its participation in the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2026, Wuling Motors (Wuling) presents a collaborative project with the National Modificator & Aftermarket Association (NMAA). The collaboration features one unit of the Wuling Darion developed under the ‘daily use dress-up’ concept. This personalized Plug-in Hybrid MPV combines minimalist design elements with relevant functionality and everyday comfort.
“Through our collaboration with NMAA, we aim to demonstrate the flexibility of the Wuling Darion as an electrified vehicle that remains highly relevant for daily use. With the ‘daily use dress-up’ concept, we want to show that a family MPV can still look stylish through functional personalization, without compromising comfort and the vehicle’s core character,” said Danang Wiratmoko, Product Communication Manager of Wuling Motors.
The ‘daily use dress-up’ concept applied to this Wuling Darion emphasizes the philosophy of ‘less is more’. All modifications are designed to ensure the vehicle remains comfortable for everyday driving, suitable for various road conditions, and easy to operate. This approach underlines that Darion can be personalized in a balanced manner without sacrificing reliability or its primary function.
In the wheels section, this Wuling Darion is equipped with 17-inch Enkei ES Tarmac wheels, measuring 8 inches in width. The selection of these wheels was based not only on aesthetics but also on proven quality, weight efficiency, and strength for daily use. Notably, the tire size remains unchanged to preserve ride comfort and the original suspension characteristics. The wheel installation and fitment were handled by Autodistro, one of NMAA’s members, resulting in a clean, precise look that aligns seamlessly with the daily use concept.
To further enhance functionality, the MPV is also fitted with a Japanese-made INNO BRQ 55 roof box. Chosen for its clean and proportional design, the roof box adds extra storage capacity while reinforcing Darion’s character as a family vehicle that supports long-distance travel and an urban lifestyle.
