Wuling Carries the Spirit of ‘Dibangun di Indonesia, untuk Anda’ in Its 8th Anniversary Celebration

Cikarang, July 11, 2025 – Today, Wuling celebrates its 8th anniversary at the Cikarang factory, bringing the spirit of ‘Dibangun di Indonesia, untuk Anda’. This year’s anniversary celebration is marked by various milestones as well as appreciation for those who have contributed to Wuling’s journey to date. In addition, Wuling also offers gifts to the public in the form of the launch of the New BinguoEV, an export ceremony to Sri Lanka, and a business preview of Mitra EV, Wuling’s first commercial EV for the Indonesian market.
“Throughout these 8 years, all our achievements have been made possible by the hard work and dedication of all employees, the attention and support from the Indonesian government, and the trust of more than 160 thousand users and partners. Therefore, on behalf of Wuling Indonesia, I would like to express my highest respect and deepest gratitude to all of you,” said Tang Wensheng, President Director of Wuling Motors.
Wuling Motors’ journey in Indonesia began with the inauguration of the production facility in July 2017. Throughout the years, Wuling has grown into one of the key players in the national automotive industry by establishing a 60-hectare production facility in Cikarang, supported by 1,000 local talents across all operational lines, in addition to a strong local supply chain system and a comprehensive sales and after-sales ecosystem. To date, Wuling has produced more than 167,000 units of vehicles and has become the first Chinese automotive manufacturer to build a local EV battery assembly facility. For its after-sales service, Wuling is supported by 150 dealers across Indonesia, which improves people’s accessibility to its products and services.
Currently, Wuling offers a total of 9 vehicle models, consisting of 4 ICE-based products, 1 hybrid product, and 4 EV products. All of these products are manufactured in Indonesia to meet the diverse mobility needs of the public. As of mid-year, Wuling has earned the trust of more than 160,000 Indonesian consumers and has also attracted interest from 18 right-hand drive countries, with more than 6,800 vehicles exported.
On this special occasion, Wuling expresses its appreciation to employees, sales staff, and consumers. Wuling presents three award categories to highly dedicated employees, as well as three award categories for 20 top-performing salespeople. In addition, 8 consumers received awards for their loyalty and trust in the Wuling brand and products.
Moreover, Wuling announced the fulfillment of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) program titled “10,000 Trees for Indonesia,” which was carried out as a fulfillment of a promise made since 2017. Throughout its journey, Wuling has implemented CSR based on three main pillars, namely education, health, and the environment, in support of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
