The series of activities began with Binguo Dream Wheels and closed with an exhibition in PIK area 

Jakarta, November 09, 2024 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) held a creative campaign from November 6 to November 9, 2024 entitled Wuling BinguoEV ‘Be The Icon’. This activity was opened with ‘Binguo Dream Wheels’ on November 6 – 8, 2024 and closed by holding an exhibition at Batavia PIK on November 9, 2024. This activity can be an inspirational approach for modern women to express their uniqueness. Similarly, Wuling BinguoEV is present in Indonesia as Wuling’s second electric car and carries a unique iconic design.

“Wuling BinguoEV has received a good response in the Indonesian automotive market. The Wuling EV hatchback has also become an icon of urban lifestyle from a vehicle aspect. To strengthen this image, we want to reach a larger segment and inspire women to express themselves and their uniqueness,” explained Liu Yan, Marketing Director of Wuling Motors.

The series of this creative campaign began with the “Binguo Dream Wheels” parade from November 6-8, 2024. “Binguo Dream Wheels” is a convoy of several BinguoEV cars and a large bus decorated with heart-shaped balloons with the words ”Be The Icon.” The parade traveled through popular spots in Jakarta, taking in the streets of Blok M and Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK), showcasing BinguoEV as an electric vehicle with an iconic body design.

In the parade of this convoy, Wuling also applied a unique BinguoEV bus livery. The bus is decorated with a design that reflects the BinguoEV aesthetic, complete with an interactive QR code. The presence of this bus in various strategic locations in Jakarta allows the public to directly interact with the “Be The Icon” campaign, which introduces BinguoEV as a stylish and innovative urban icon.

As the final event of this creative campaign, Wuling held an exhibition at Batavia PIK with various entertainment such as live music performances such as cello, violin, and singer to strengthen the romantic and beautiful atmosphere. In addition, visitors were offered “Feast of Beauty,” limited edition beauty accessories and products as exclusive gifts. To increase the excitement of the event, Wuling prepared a photo spot with heart-shaped balloon decorations for group photo opportunities. Also on display were 3 units of BinguoEV and 1 unit of BinguoEV that had been given special pink color personalization.

“Wuling BinguoEV ‘Be The Icon’ invites women to dare to look authentic, reflecting the values of individuality and class in every step they take. BinguoEV comes not only as an answer to green mobility but also as a symbol of freedom of expression for modern women who want to be different,” added Liu Yan.

Speaking of Wuling BinguoEV, this hatchback EV is produced domestically and carries a TKDN of 47.5%. It features a compact and proportional design, carrying dimensions that optimize space and comfort. The design reflects a harmonious blend of modern style and mobile efficiency. The exterior of the BinguoEV itself has an overall timeless design. At the front are the X-Shaped LED Headlamp and Diamond Shaped Grille. BinguoEV applies an Impressive Two-Tone Body Color and Water Splash Wheel Cap that creates an elegant look with a unique impression. At the rear, the BinguoEV is equipped with X-shaped LED Tail Lights and a streamlined ducktail that gives it a modern touch.

In terms of performance, the BinguoEV is powered by a 50 kWh electric motor. The power generated comes through a Single Reduction Gear transmission to the rear wheels. The BinguoEV is also powered by an IP67-standard lithium ferro-phosphate (LFP) battery with a capacity of 31.9 kWh for the Long Range type with a range of up to 333 kilometers and 37.9 kWh for the Premium Range type that can reach up to 410 kilometers.
