Wuling Earns Green Car of the Year Title at REPNAS National Conference & Awarding Night

Wuling recognized for its contribution to environmentally-friendly electric vehicles supporting green energy transition
Jakarta, October 15, 2024 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) has once again achieved remarkable recognition in the national automotive industry by being awarded as “Green Car of the Year” at the REPNAS National Conference & Awarding Night: Energi Mandiri – Ekonomi Berdikari. The award, presented on October 14, 2024, at the Auditorium of Menara Bank Mega, acknowledges the company’s contribution and innovation in developing environmentally-friendly electric vehicles and its commitment to reducing carbon emissions in Indonesia.

Over its seven-year journey in Indonesia, Wuling has introduced three flagship electric vehicles, collectively known as the ABC Stories. The journey started with the letter A, representing the Air ev. This compact electric vehicle, launched in Indonesia in 2022, has become a go-to choice for urban residents with a modern, practical, and eco-friendly lifestyle. In addition to its unique design, the Air ev is equipped with modern features and boasts a range of up to 300 kilometers on a single charge.
Following this, Wuling introduced the BinguoEV, symbolized by the letter B in the ABC Stories, in 2023. This iconic hatchback electric vehicle offers a fun driving experience, featuring a powerful electric motor that provides swift acceleration and maximum comfort. The BinguoEV can travel up to 410 kilometers on a single charge.
Completing the ABC Stories is the letter C which stands for Cloud EV. Launched in Indonesia in May 2024, this medium-sized hatchback prioritizes safety and comfort for both drivers and passengers by offering a spacious cabin and ergonomic interior design. The Cloud EV has a driving range of up to 460 kilometers on a single charge.
Wuling’s EV ABC Stories have also demonstrated their commitment to creating a greener environment in Indonesia by participating in numerous international events. To date, Wuling EVs have been the official car partner in six international events, further cementing their role in supporting sustainable transportation.
In addition, Wuling offers the Worry-Free Program with Wuling EVs as part of its after-sales service for every electric vehicle customer. This program includes a Lifetime Core EV Components Warranty, which covers a lifetime guarantee on three essential components of the electric vehicle: the power battery, drive motor, and motor control unit. With this program, Wuling ensures ease, satisfaction, and peace of mind for its electric vehicle users.

The Green Car of the Year award from the REPNAS National Conference & Awarding Night adds to Wuling’s growing list of accolades achieved through its EV ABC Stories. These include the Product Campaign of The Year award from the Marketeers Editor’s Choice Award 2024 and the Tanda Kehormatan Atas Peran Mengakselerasi Penggunaan Mobil Listrik 2024 from Majalah Listrik Indonesia.
