A total of 10 Medium Hatchback EV units from Wuling serve as eco-friendly mobility partners throughout the event
Jimbaran, September 11, 2024 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) proudly announces its participation in the Periklindo Electric Vehicle Conference (PEVC) 2024, taking place from 12 to 13 September 2024 at the Intercontinental Resort, Bali. As part of its contribution to this prestigious event, Wuling has assigned 10 units of Cloud EV as the official eco-friendly transportation for speakers and VIP guests of PEVC 2024. This initiative further solidifies Wuling’s commitment to supporting the growth of electric vehicles in Indonesia.
Brian Gomgom, Public Relations Manager of Wuling Motors, stated that Wuling supports PEVC as an important event to develop electric vehicle innovation further. “By assigning 10 Cloud EV units, Wuling demonstrates its real commitment to advancing environmentally friendly and sustainable mobility technology in Indonesia. The 10 medium hatchback Wuling Cloud EV units in Milk Tea color are tasked with ensuring smooth mobility for speakers and VIP guests throughout the conference, making a meaningful contribution to the event’s success and the broader adoption of electric vehicles in Indonesia. Launched in May 2024, this is Wuling’s third electric vehicle model, produced at Wuling’s factory in Cikarang, West Java, with a domestic content level (TKDN) of 40%.
The deployment of Cloud EV units began with a symbolic handover ceremony on 10 September 2024. Following this, the Wuling electric vehicles were exclusively used to transport attendees to the event venue at InterContinental Resort Bali, ensuring the smooth operation of the conference. Apart from serving as transportation, the EVs also enhanced the eco-friendly experience promoted by PEVC 2024, in line with the event’s theme, “EVolution REVolution.”
With 500 participants in attendance, the Periklindo Electric Vehicle Conference (PEVC) 2024 aims to provide the latest insights into the development of the electric vehicle industry and encourage wider adoption among Indonesian consumers. Under the theme “EVolution REVolution: Electric Vehicle Conference on Technology, Consumers, and the Road to Sustainability,” the conference acts as a platform for interaction between industry players, manufacturers, distributors, consumers, and the government.
